About Us
What we do
The North Texas Honor Guard is composed of nurses who volunteer our time to attend the services of fellow nurses who have passed away. We wear our traditional white uniform, cap and blue cape and present an approximate 10-minute Nightingale Tribute as well as a Last Call to Duty during the service. We also present a Nightingale Lamp to the family. There is never a charge to the family.
We are here to serve
We are 501 C (3), nonprofit organization, covering 12 counties in the North Texas Area. Staffed by volunteer nurses, both active and retired, we consider it an honor to perform this service for family and friends of the deceased nurse.
